I have over 22 years of experience in English for Specific Purposes, focusing on medical terminology, communication, and science. For 18 years, I taught English for medical, academic, and scientific purposes full-time at university, while also conducting related research and participating in EU-funded projects. My educational background includes a PhD in Education Sciences, a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a Bachelor’s in Geography and English. Additionally, I am certified in OET exam preparation, medical translation, and online teaching.

Well, yes and no. I like to ‘hurry slowly’. First, I seek to understand the specific context and need of a potential client or collaborator. I get involved only if I know I can help in a practical, meaningful way, and I don’t take on too many projects at any given time. I prefer to give my full attention and make sure we get the job done properly – successfully, efficiently, enjoyably.
